Singleplayer/Soloist Marathon

Raaaar. I have been hard at work for the past five days with nary a break to sit down. Call backs, last minute demands, an event that needed setup and overseeing, double classes, lack of lunch, you name it, it's been piled on me.

Fortunately, governmental regulations of a 42 hour workweek means that days off must be given in replacement for all these sudden 'reservist' mobilizations, so I'm looking at a more or less 2-3 day workweek this week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday I'm happily off. Only really working Wed, Fri and Sat.

My Steam Games list has exploded from one too many weekend deals. Not that I buy -every- game. Games I don't intend on playing ever, like Flockz and uber-casual games, I'm not buying regardless of the price. But it's the well-rated and received oldgames that I completely missed during four years at college (and being far far far away from Tec-Drome) that are putting a serious dent in my potential 'to be spent' gametime.

It helps that my desktop is now a fairly up-to-date graphics powerhouse, instead of the was-new-when-I-started-college laptop I had been working with for the four years cheaply. Means I can play the oldgames at maximum potential.

This should be interesting. Look out for capsule reviews of aged games in the near future. (I also spent a long while drooling at a $9.99 Deus Ex before deciding to put it off and see if there's a weekend deal to cut the price down one day.)
