A sudden revelation hit me forcefully while spacing out during one of our regular interminable meetings.
You can tell who is married or not by looking at the fingers of people's hands to see if there is a wedding ring on the ring finger.
Obviously there is a caveat in that some "singles" may have neglected to put it on that day or some true singles just like wearing shitloads of rings, but by and large, the correspondence holds.
It also hit me forcefully that I have seen some of these people 5 out of 7 days weekly for over 7+ years and I simply never bothered to notice.
If there is a word for the antithesis of people-focused, that would describe me to a T.
