Currently level six. I cannot really be bothered to level hard to make a Positron taskforce with someone I don't know, not when there is an Extraordinary Ass Clown event this Saturday. Ass Clowning must be had.
But I am a proud poogle today.
Level five and muddling around Hollows 2, when someone sends me a tell asking if I was looking for a team. I say yes, they invited me, and I went to Hollows. (Quite like Atlas Park and Atlas Park 2.) I realised it was a group of level 15 squishies and a scrapper. They have a mission with Igneous and Circle of Thorns and they needed a tank.
This was rather ridiculous. They could sidekick me to 15, but I have only rock armor, earth embrace, my first attack, and taunt. I would simply get mezzed to death by CoT bosses. I have no enhancements in my slots either -- trying to save up for DOs at 12.
But ok. I told them I would try. So I put on rock armor, and we moved slowly forward. Things went ok -- the empathy could keep up -- when there were no bosses. The moment a boss appeared, I was mezzed, and I died. Two team wipes. A third they ran when I dropped. Finally, they brought in another empath, one with clear mind. And somehow, between the two empaths, they managed to keep everyone alive.
Poogle, the rock-armored only tank, taunting and tanking oranges and yellows, kept alive barely by the empaths' spam-healing. Even then, it was amazing how much 'harder' a tank was compared to scrappers (whose defenses were of course not slotted at 15). Two scrappers (one brought in later) who would rapidly drop to half-point when a boss or lieut started to hit it. Basically naked tank, still able to absorb the hits by sheer hitpoint amount and the base resists in rock armor. Let's not even go into the two blasters; blasters squish.
Actually, you can say this wasn't really the tank doing anything, but the skill in two dedicated empaths. Hurrah for clear mind.
But it was so damn hard to keep aggro, when you're a sidekicked 5 and you can't even punchvoke a thing. Oh well, that is what taunt is for I guess. Messy battles in narrow Oranbega corridors. Yucks.
After that, I got mudpots, and herded a mission. I also died from overherding (Clockworks are bad to herd). Then I mudpotted a few hellions (no skuls in Galaxy City:p) to death and got rid of the debt. And then mudpotted a whole bunch more just for fun. Almost seven now... :P
Mudpots rule, rawr. Go pootanks!

I knew you would come over to the Poo Side one day! Good choice, young Jedi master.
