Ultimate Easy Mode

Right now, I'm freaking bored outta my skull.

I think the fire tank responsible for this is also bored, because as I type this, he's completed the mission by himself. Thank god, now I can quit team and log out.

They have invented ultimate easy mode. It's called...take a level 32 fire tank on a level 10 mission team with mobs at level 12. He has taunt. He quits the team inside the mission and goes running around taunting stuff. We kill and get xp at 40xp/min absolutely safe. No risk whatsoever.

Everyone around the fire tank is out of end and still trying to hit +2 mobs. I hate whiffing. On a taunted mob. It's like missing on a stationary punching bag. How frustrating and dumb is that?

I bet a controller could also "plevel" like this. A lvl 50 guy did it once for me for a while. Just ran up to a perez group, AoE held, and me as scrapper just decimated them all before they could stop clutching their foreheads. Half a level in a flash of 6-7 such groups.

My question is why.

This is the ultimate in xp efficiency AND safety, ain't it? Done right, no one faces any debt, heck, you just need one overleveled tank, one AoE blaster, and the rest of the team can go to sleep nearby.

Who needs tanks of even level any more? Be they taunt, punchvokers or scrankers? Or controllers - why hold when you can taunt with a level 50? Or defenders, who needs defending any more, the over-leveled tanker sure doesn't. Nope, just stack 'em up with damage dealers so they can hit the mobs like punching bags.

Booooooooooooring. Not just for those getting the boost, but also for the tank.

As I believe he figured out when he started "missing" the wrong button, and "accidentally" "oopsie" hitting and burning stuff to death in seconds.

He was probably out to clear debt with a lowbie mission or something. Though I don't know if you can get the bonus like that. Possibly so. Since he would still be in mission, but wouldn't have to share it with a team.

Woulda quit long ago, but it's my mission unfortunately. So had to stick it out.

Oh, and the best part of this story is that some blasters STILL managed to die. They ran off in an opposite direction from the lvl 32 tank and aggro'ed stuff and didn't know how to run back to get help.

Figures.

Dying in ultimate easy mode. What's next?
